Greenville County Schools is celebrating the achievements of the 2023-24 New Instruction Coach Cohort. The program exists to provide support and resources to new Instructional Coaches as they acclimate to the role of an Instructional Coach.

During the first year as an Instructional Coach, coaches are connected with a veteran Instructional Coach mentor to support them through the first year; exposed to a network of critical personnel who are vital to the success of Instructional Coaches; engaged in reflection and refinement of coaching practices; and provided opportunities for collaboration.

The group met monthly throughout the school year to engage in experiences aligned to cohort goals, and have embraced the transformative power of effective instructional coaching.
