Congratulations to the five Fountain Inn High students who are pursuing their career interests with a paid internship through LaunchGVL. Jordyn Weathers will be working with the Greenville Chamber, Joshua Jenkins-Bellows with Industrial Power Corporation, Kyla Ingold with the Fountain Inn Chamber and Leah Miller and Kennady Boehm will be working with the Greenville Drive.

LaunchGVL will have new opportunities next fall, spring and summer for juniors and seniors.

Congratulations to the Band of Fury for receiving the Outstanding Performance Award for the first time in school history! The OPA award is given to bands that demonstrate success in all SCBDA events. Bands earn points by performing highly in Marching Band Championships, Region and All-State Band placements, Concert Performance Assessment, and Solo and Ensemble. It is the highest award given out by the South Carolina Band Directors Association. Let’s Go Band of Fury!
