HOSA Meeting

There is a mandatory HOSA meeting on Monday, February 2nd, immediately after school in Ms. Gravel's room. The meeting will last around 30 minutes.


Palmetto Boys State

Attention Rising Senior Boys!!! Applications are now open at BRHS for young men interested in Palmetto Boys State. The program is sponsored by the American Legion and is a unique way for young men to learn about the American system of government and politics by participating in a mock governmental system. During the week long program each young man will have the opportunity to run for and be elected to mock offices ranging from city level (e.g. city council, mayor) to state constitutional offices (e.g. lieutenant governor and governor). Complete and print the attached application. Applications are due to Ms. Fevrin in the Counseling Office by February 27th.

Girl’s State 2026

Attention rising seniors!!! Applications are now open at BRHS for young ladies interested in Palmetto Girls State. The program is sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) and is a unique way for young ladies to learn about the American system of government and politics by participating in a mock governmental system. Girls State educates our youth in the duties, privileges, rights, and responsibilities of American citizenship. During the week long program each young lady will have the opportunity to run for and be elected to mock offices ranging from city level (e.g. city council, mayor) to state constitutional offices (e.g. lieutenant governor and governor). Please use the link to print and complete the application. Applications are due to Ms. Fevrin in the Counseling Office by February 20th. Interviews will be conducted by the American Legion Auxiliary. Interview Dates: TBD. There are a limited number of delegates for the program, so apply as soon as possible.

Attention 9th & 10th Grade students! - CTE Innovation Center Info

Do you enjoy hands-on learning in technology, engineering, and mathematics with hands-on learning? Then the CTE Innovation Center may be a perfect fit for you! We have a trip to visit CTE Innovations Center scheduled for Wednesday, February 11th from 9:30 am - 12 pm. If you are interested in learning more about the opportunities available there, stop by the Counseling Office to get a permission form to attend. Permission forms are due back by January 30th. Youth Leadership Greenville for current 10th Graders

Youth Leadership Greenville (YLG), offered through the Greenville County School District (GCSD), is looking for current 10th graders to apply to develop essential leadership skills by fostering active community involvement in many activities in the community.
The grogram fee is $125 for the year (scholarships are available, if needed). Sessions take place during school hours, and students will be excused from classes to attend. Students and their families are responsible for transportation to and from the GCSD Office or designated locations for the monthly sessions. EARLY COLLEGE SIGN UPS & ACCUPLACER TESTING

Attention 9th - 11th graders!
Sign up for Early College classes next year to earn college credits through Greenville Technical College. Experience college classes and challenge yourself! Classes will be taught by Blue Ridge HS or Greenville Tech instructors at Blue Ridge High School. ACCUPLACER Testing will be on February 24th & 25th for students to qualify.
