EARLY COLLEGE SIGN UPS & ACCUPLACER TESTING

Attention 9th - 11th graders!
Sign up for Early College classes next year to earn college credits through Greenville Technical College. Experience college classes and challenge yourself! Classes will be taught by Blue Ridge HS or Greenville Tech instructors at Blue Ridge High School. ACCUPLACER Testing will be on February 24th & 25th for students to qualify. Attention 9th & 10th Grade students! Do you enjoy working with your hands, value on the job training and/or learning by doing? Then Bonds Career Center may be perfect for you! We have a trip to visit Bonds Career Center scheduled for Friday, January 30th from 9 am - 12 pm. If you are interested in learning more about the opportunities available, stop by the Counseling Office to get a permission form to attend. Permission forms will be due back on January 15th. GCS Foundation Scholarship Information!

Seniors attending GCS high schools are eligible to apply for the GCS Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship is made possible by the annual GCS Golf Scholarship Tournament. A portion of the scholarships is designated for children of permanent full- or part-time GCS employees. Scholarship Packets are accessible via students' SchooLinks accounts, Senior Google Classroom, & linked below.

Student applications must be completed and returned to their school counselor no later than Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

Annual Upstate Premedical Immersion Camp

Annual Upstate Premedical Immersion Camp

We are excited to announce the 5th-annual Upstate Premedical Immersion Camp (UPIC), a Pre-medicine Pathway Program for high school students (9th-12th grades) to increase hands-on experiences and exposure to the medical field who want to be a physician. Designed to increase the educational and mentorship opportunities available to students, this program involves medical students from the USC - School of Medicine Greenville and resident physicians from Prisma Health Upstate.

There are four interactive sessions on Saturdays 9am-1pm and lunch is provided. **Transportation is NOT provided.** The Closing Ceremony is March 10, 2026 from 5:30pm-7:30pm where family and friends are welcome.
