For teachers interested in becoming certified in teaching ESOL: ;Starting this spring, Clemson University College of Education will be offering the ESOL add on certification courses online. Furman University

Furman University Graduate Studies Fall 2018

In appreciation of Greenville County educators, Furman University is offering a 50% discount off the regular tuition price on your first fall 2018 course toward a master’s or Educational Specialist degree. 

Furman offers seven Master of Arts in Education programs and two Educational Specialist degrees.  View Furman’s fall term 2018 course offerings.  Classes begin August 28 and end on December 11, with exams the following week.  Registration opens July 16 and ends on August 10.

We are currently accepting applications for a fall Educational Leadership Cohort.  This program is for certified administrators who are planning to add on licensure as a district-level superintendent.  Both Clemson and USC have agreed to accept this Ed.S. toward their respective doctoral programs, making you ½ way toward your doctorate, upon completion of this program!

The Children’s Museum of the Upstate

ETV’s TeacherLine Southeast program ( offers educators facilitated courses earning renewal and graduate credit, including one R2S-approved course (RDLA152) and one PACE-approved course (SOST502), and ‘mini’ self-paced courses that can be taken anytime.

Several of TeacherLine’s self-paced courses are FREE; others only $49. These courses do not earn credit unless your district will give credit directly upon your request.
