Tdap Vaccine Requirement for All 7th Graders

Rising 7th graders must have the tdap vaccine before starting school in the fall

South Carolina law requires that all students entering the seventh grade receive one (1) dose of Tdap vaccine. Tdap vaccine protects children from three serious diseases: tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (often called whooping cough).

Students entering the seventh grade, who have not received the Tdap vaccine by the beginning of next school year (August
2024), will not be allowed to attend school until they have received the vaccine and provided proof to our school nurse.

If you have any questions, please call our school nurse at 864-355-8507.
