VISITORS TO SKYLAND
Please be reminded that all parents and other visitors must come by the office to sign in and to get a visitor's pass to wear. This is for your child's safety and for yours in case of emergency. Thank you for your cooperation.
Traffic safety rules are continually emphasized. Please become familiar with the safety rules that are in place and follow them strictly while on the school campus. Students being dropped off in the morning must wait for a Safety Patrol to escort them from their cars. At no time should a student be dropped off in the parking lot to cross the three lines of traffic. This is extremely dangerous.

NO CELL PHONE ZONE
You may have noticed the No Cell Phone Zone signs posted in the carpool lines recently and you might be asking yourself, "What's the harm in talking on a cell phone in a school zone?" Safe Kids Upstate, a program dedicated to reducing the unintentional injury of children under the age of 14, would like for you to be aware of the risk of talking on your cell phone while driving.
In case of inclement weather, be sure to listen to local radio or television stations for announcements of school delays or closings. In case of two hour delays, students should report to school no earlier than 9:15 a.m.
