Student Documents on Google Drive Instead of H Drive
- Teachers are encouraged to inform students to use Google Drive for storing documents instead of the H Drive. The H drive only works on computers with Windows. As the district moves to Chromebooks and other non-Windows based devices, students will be unable to access their H drive on these machines. The H drive will still be available to students, but due to access, we are encouraging students to discontinue use of it. Audience: All Teachers. Contact: Your Supervisor.

Flu and Shingles Vaccines offered for Members of State Health Plans -
Effective 07/01/2015, flu vaccinations are offered at no charge to all State Health Plan members. This applies to both the Standard and Savings Health Plans. Members may get the shot from a participating pharmacy for a $0 copayment. If a member receives the shot in a network doctor’s office, the flu vaccine and the administration fee will be paid in full. Please note that any associated doctor’s office visit charge will be processed according to regular plan coverage rules. The shingles vaccine, Zostavax, and the administration fee for giving the shot, are free to State Health Plan members age 60 and older if received from a participating pharmacy. This applies to both the Standard and Savings Health Plans. The vaccination requires a doctor’s prescription. To save the cost of an extra office visit, you may want to get the prescription from your doctor at a regular scheduled visit. Please note not all participating pharmacies administer the vaccine. If the shingles vaccine is not given at a participating pharmacy, the Zostavax needs to be kept frozen and taken immediately to a doctor’s office for administration. Please note any associated doctor’s office visit charges will be processed according to regular plan coverage rules. To find a participating pharmacy, please call Catamaran at 1-855-901-7322 or visit www.myCatamaranRx.com. You will need to register on the website to gain access to the participating pharmacy listing. Audience: All Employees. If you have any additional questions, please contact PEBA at 1-888-260-9430.

HEALTHY LIVING TIPS

Pick exercises you enjoy.
When you enjoy the sports, you’ll naturally want to do them. Exercise isn’t about suffering and pushing yourself; it’s about being healthy and having fun at the same time. Adding variation in your exercises will keep them interesting.

Work out different parts of your body.
Don’t just do cardio exercises (such as jogging). Give your full body a proper work out. The easiest way is to engage in sports, since they work out different muscle groups. Popular sports include basketball, football, swimming, tennis, squash, badminton, Frisbee, and more.
