Teen Grief Support Group:

Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes presents a teen grief support group every Tuesday 10/14-11/18/14 at Coffee Underground from 4:30-6PM.  Coffee Underground is located at 1 E. Coffee St., Greenville.  This will be led by Jesse Roberts, Author of "Kate and the Ladybug" and Brenda Atkinson.

Greenville Regional Education Center to Host SAT/ACT Test Taking Strategies Workshop

The Greenville Region of Personal Pathways to Success is hosting a free SAT/ACT workshop on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the University Center in Greenville from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The instructor for the course, Derrick Smith of SC Test Prep has successfully prepared thousands of students for the SAT and ACT. Attention Seniors!

Seniors are reminded that because of federal privacy regulations, Guidance is unable to send transcripts of other documents without a completed Transcript Request Form. Seniors who are not 18 years or older must have their parents sign this form.  

GCS Offers Students Free Online SAT Prep Course

Greenville County Schools is offering a free online SAT Prep Course from the College Board at no cost for juniors, seniors, and other students preparing for the test a $69.95 value!  The online course helps students improve their overall readiness for the SAT with interactive lessons, practice tests, personalized score reports, essay writing skills, and detailed answer explanations. The course is comprehensive, easy to use, and can be taken anytime from a computer with Internet access. Students should see their School Counselor for their unique student access code and directions on how to access the program. To register for the SAT Test visit
