Did You Know You Can Pay Debt on MySchool Bucks? Please read the directions below FIRST!

**Be aware that your student debt WILL NOT APPEAR when you log in to MySchoolBucks--you will have to manually add fees you owe to the "cart" using the correct category under the "DEBT" section (Science fee, ID, lost book, etc.). The directions linked above in red will tell you how to check your debt amount AND what categories to choose in My School Bucks for each type of debt. ALL DEBT must be paid to be eligible to purchase a parking permit or a Homecoming Dance ticket.
The national math honor society, Mu Alpha Theta, is now accepting applications for new members. Students must have completed at least Algebra 2 Honors with an A or B in all of your math classes. Fill out the Google Form if you are interested in joining by Thursday November 21. Please see Mr. Conrad in room 203 if you have any questions.
Congratulations to the following Eastside Varsity Choir singers who auditioned and made the SC All State Choir! Lena Snipes, Madison Thomas, Mary Addison Edwards, Jimbo DeMint, Elizabeth Edwards, Haisley Lewis and Vega Hutchins. These singers will join other singers across the state at Winthrop University February 27-March 1st. Way to go Eagle Singers!
SAT/ACT Choice Form: ALL JUNIORS Must Complete This Form EVEN If You Are NOT Taking Either Test!
JUNIORS: You have the opportunity to take either the ACT or the SAT this coming spring.
However, ALL Juniors at Eastside are REQUIRED to complete the form below!
You must indicate that you WILL TAKE the ACT or SAT OR that you WILL NOT TAKE either test.

College Entrance Assessment Choice Form - 11th Grade
Attention NEHS members: Details about our first service project have been posted on Google Classroom! Please check as soon as possible and sign up to earn service hours. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, November 19 in Room 103 before school at 8:15 or after school at 3:40. Remember you are required to attend at least three meetings in order to maintain active membership. Please be prompt or you will not be admitted to the meeting. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Lordemann or Mrs. Whaley.

Prisma Health in partnership with Apprenticeship Carolina, Greenville Technical College, and Greenville County Schools have created an apprenticeship model for high school students. Youth apprentices (high school students) dually enrolled at Greenville Technical College and their high schools are simultaneously employed PRN (as needed) by Prisma Health in the role of Nursing Support Apprentice.
To participate in this youth apprenticeship program, students must be 16 years old by July 1, 2025 and a rising junior.

Eastside FALL EOC Test Schedule
Students currently enrolled in Algebra 1, Biology 1, English 2, and U.S. History are required to take an End-of-Course (EOC) exam, which will serve as their final exam for these courses. All EOC exams will start at 8:45 a.m. If you have any questions, please reach out to your student's EOC teacher.

Looking for community service hours. The DECA Thanksgiving Food Drive is a great way to earn hours while giving back to the community. Bags and food lists can be picked up from Guidance, Galli, Grigsby, Mathews, and Worthy. The drive runs through November 20. Please help us feed those in need this Thanksgiving.

Seniors, don't let time slip away! Get your senior ad TODAY and pay in 3 easy installments. Prices will go up on December 2nd, so order now at the discounted rates! Prices are as follows: 1/8 page is $85, 1/4 page is $150, a 1/2 page is $225, and a full page is $350.
Parents and Students: South Carolina law mandates that you have no more than 5 unexcused/unlawful absences from any semester-long class or over 3 unexcused/unlawful absences from any quarter-long class. If these unlawful absences are not made up, you WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT for this course. To assist you with this issue, Eastside High School offers Seat Time Recovery (STR) options to help make up the seat time required for this class. These sessions begin on October 22nd. Please see the attached sample Seat Time Recovery letter for full information.

Eastside High School’s Graduation Ceremony will be Friday, May 23rd, at 11:30 a.m. All graduations will be at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
