Book Parade Event
Chandler Creek Elementary is gearing up for an exciting event, the Book Parade, scheduled for Tuesday, April 15th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to express their love for literature by dressing as their favorite book or book character.
Participants are encouraged to bring their creativity to life, but please remember: no scary costumes or books are allowed. This ensures a fun and friendly atmosphere for all ages.
In addition to the parade, attendees can look forward to a special treat with the 4th grade art show, showcasing the talents of our young artists. Plus, there will be free concessions available, making this event even more enjoyable for families.

Spring Book Fair
April 11-17, 2025
Family Night: April 15 from 5:30-7:00pm
We are so excited about our spring book fair that is planned for April 11-17, 2025. One new district procedure about the book fair is that each student MUST have a signed permission form to visit the book fair. The students will not be allowed to visit the book fair unless we have a signed permission form.

2025 South Carolina Ready Testing
The following are the scheduled testing dates for SC-READY 2025 for students in grades 3 to 5:
April 22: Writing - Grades 3 to 5
April 29: Reading - Part 1 - Grades 3 to 5
April 30: Reading - Part 2 and Math - Grades 3 to 5
May 6: Math - Grades 3 to 5
May 8: Science - Grade 4
Please mark these dates on your calendar to ensure students are prepared for their assessments.
CCE Spirit Rock
RENT THE ROCK to Celebrate your Student and Support CCE PTA. The Chandler Creek Spirit Rock is now available for sign-ups!
The Chandler Creek Spirit Rock is a perfect way to send someone a " Happy Birthday" or show your school spirit! The Rock is also a PTA fundraiser- so ALL funds generated are used to pay for school programs and improvements!!!
The cost is $10 and you will have the rock for 24 hrs (5pm-5pm). Payment, via Member HUB, is required at the time you sign up. Dates are available on a first come, first serve basis and you may NOT reserve the rock for consecutive days!! Click on this link https://chandlercreek.memberhub.com/store or scan the QR code to pay.
You may start painting the rock at 5pm the day BEFORE you sign up so it will be ready for the morning carpool line. For example, if your child's birthday is October 8th (reserve October 8th on the sign up), you may start painting at 5pm on October 7th!! Please be respectful for our fellow Chandler Creek Painters and do not start painting the rock before your assigned time of 5pm.
Please do not paint the ground or any of the area around the rock. An adult MUST be present when painting the rock.
*** The PTA has the authority to remove/repaint any language or image that is deemed inappropriate.
*** There will be no refunds for weather or school closures!

Student Enrollment/Registration Information
Parents can save time by enrolling students in Greenville County Schools online. To begin the process, you must first have a Backpack account. Go to the link below for information on registration, enrolling, and creating a Backpack account.
Open your Backpack account, look for the “Enroll A New Student” section, and follow the instructions.
The following documents are needed to enroll a new student ~
- Photo ID from any state or country
- Two current “proof of residency” documents (all must contain property address). These can be a combination of
- Current bills – i.e. electric, gas, water, cable
- Current mortgage statement or current signed lease agreement with landlord’s name and phone number
- Child’s Birth Certificate
- Signed Certificate of Immunization, Conditional Certificate of Immunization, or Religious Exemption Certificate (Religious Exemption Certificate provided by Health Department)
