Enrollment Procedures and Forms

If you have a child that will be in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, and would like for your child to attend Blue Ridge Middle School, please verify that you live within the geographical attendance area for BRMS by clicking on the GeoAddress link and entering your physical address.

After you have verified that your child resides within the geographical attendance area for Blue Ridge Middle, you may contact us about the procedures for enrolling.  Students who are new to Greenville County Schools will need to present original documents to the school for verification.  Photocopies of these documents are unacceptable.

When you come to the school to enroll, a student must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  We must verify that the adult who accompanies the student is the parent or legal guardian.  We do this by asking for a government-issued photo ID, divorce / separation documents (if parents have divorced), or court-ordered guardianship papers, if applicable.

We must also verify the address of the student.  We do this for asking for "proof of residency."  Other documents we may need include birth certificates, immunization records, transcripts, and withdrawal papers from the student's previous school.  For a complete checklist for parents who wish to enroll their child into any Greenville County School District school, you may download the checklist.
