The mission of the Berea Middle School Library is to promote a love of reading and lifelong learning by providing quality texts in both fictions and informational formats. The library strives to create a nurturing, student-centered environment where all students experience success as readers and learners through developing information seeking skills and forming ideas about our world.
The Media Center is open to students Monday - Friday 8:10am - 3:30pm.
Students may check out two books at a time. They may have no more than three books out total but eBooks do not count in the three. Books are checked out for three weeks at a time and the due date is stamped inside the book. We do not charge overdue fines for overdue books, but if a book is lost, students must pay the entire cost of the book. Students with overdue books will be limited to checking out one paperback book until the overdue book is returned or renewed.
Our Media Center has a large collection of ebooks that can be accessed through our Destiny Catalog. To view, read and checkout ebooks, students log into Destiny using their school email logins.
