
2026 Reading All-Stars Challenge
Students are challenged to read a total of 500 pages between January 12th and February 13th. Students that complete the challenge will be given a ticket voucher to the celebration game and a pre-game meet the Drive player event. Families can choose between two games; Tuesday, April 14 @ 6:45 PM and Wednesday, April 15th @ 6:45 PM.

Students who are interested in joining the Model UN Club and going on an overnight field trip to the beautiful Black Mountains, North Carolina, are asked to please fill out the attached interest survey form. Many programs do not require prior experience, while some music and visual arts programs expect foundational skills. There is no tuition for Greenville County Students and transportation is provided to/from all 15 GCS High Schools.

Please join us February 3rd, at 6:00pm for our annual Falcon Flight Planning. This is a Related Arts Review and is intended for current 5th, 6th, and 7th graders and parents. The purpose of this event is to review related arts offerings so that students can make informed decisions when choosing their related arts selections during the upcoming class registration for the 2026-2027 school year. Guests will have an opportunity to meet teachers, counselors and administrators. Representatives from PTA will also be available to answer questions regarding volunteer opportunities.

We invite you to wear pink and join us for the Cancer Awareness Event in partnership with Berea Fire Dept’s ‘On Fire for a Cure.’ The event will take place at 4:30pm before the Sevier Falcon basketball teams take on the Riverside Royals on January 21st. Concession proceeds during the game will go to the ongoing fight against cancer.

ACCESS Testing for English Language Learners will be administered to small groups of students from January 21 through February 6, 2026. This is an English proficiency test. There are four parts to the ACCESS test: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Each test will be given on a different day. You can help your student do their best by ensuring that they get plenty of rest and are prepared on their test dates. They will need their charged chromebook for each test.
