Weekly Update 11.24.2015

Good Afternoon, League Academy! I hope you are all looking forward to a very Happy Thanksgiving! Please remember that Greenville County Schools’ offices and schools will be closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, November 25-27.

I would like to congratulate the 7th Grade Intermediate Drama and 8th Grade Theatre Production Classes for doing an outstanding job last week!

League Academy also celebrated Veteran’s Day last week as well, and we would like to thank all of our volunteers who made our Veterans’ Day Breakfast a success! Were able to celebrate our families who have veterans as family members, and our students and staff saluted their own family members by writing their names and type of service on cards that made an American flag in the cafeteria.

Please remember to like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter! We have a special parent survey posted on our website and Facebook page regarding the creation of an after school program at League. Please take a moment to fill out the survey to help us understand your needs.

I would like to take a moment to tell all of you how thankful I am for all of our League Family. We are truly lucky to have such an involved and positive school community. I am thankful for our students, our staff, and our parents and community each and every day but especially during the season of giving that is Thanksgiving. I wish each of you and your families a very happy Thanksgiving.

Mrs. Anderson

8th Grade IGP Meetings

To make things as convenient as possible for the parents, we created an online sigh up so parents can chose the date and time that works best for them to come to League for the IGP conference.
