EOC Exams: Students enrolled in English 2, Biology, Algebra I, and/ or USHistory for Spring Semester must take an End-of-Course Examination, written by the SCDE. The EOC exam counts as 20% of the students' final average. Please visit Eastside's Testing Site for specific dates and times for both virtual and in-person students. Congratulations Band, Chorus, Orchestra Students, and Instructors!
A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the orchestra, band, and chorus programs for ALL earning Superior with Distinction at their respective Concert Performance Assessments! This is the highest rating possible to receive at adjudication. The orchestraearned the award twice with two ensembles, the band received a perfect score, and the varsity choir was the only group in Greenville County that received a Superior sightreading score at the highest difficulty level. A huge congratulations to Ms. Audrey Bass, Ms. Jeanene Smith, Mrs. Lindsey Foster, and all the music students at EHS for this incredible and prestigious musical achievement.

Eastside delivered an outstanding performance at the CWEA event this past Saturday 3/14, at Byrnes HS. The team earned an impressive 2nd Place finish in their class—achieving not only their highest score and placement of the season, but also the highest score and placement in Eastside history. These remarkable students have worked incredibly hard, pushing themselves to reach new goals and break program records. Thank you to everyone who supported them throughout this season—your encouragement made a difference. Congratulations to the team on an unforgettable accomplishment!
Seat Time Recovery for Second Semester
Seat Time Recovery sessions are available now. Students must first see Mr. Dix in the Commons Area at lunch to sign up before attending.
Blood Drive Reminders: This is the last blood drive of the year. The Blood Connection will be at Eastside on Friday, April 10th. Please encourage your students age 16 or older to sign-up during lunch April 7th & 8th. Donors will receive $30 in rewards. Our school will be eligible for a $500 grant, and any student who donates 3 times before graduation will earn a red graduation cord. Seniors, this is the last chance to earn your cord!

WIN Ready2Work Career Assessment Wednesday, April 1, 2026 @ 8:45am This test is required for all actively enrolled third year students (typically 11th graders). Students will take all four components of the assessment (Work Ready Math, Reading, Data, and Soft Skills) during the test day. WIN’s Work Ready Assessments provide a valid indicator of career readiness and essential soft skills for South Carolina Department of Education and South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce. All eligible students, including GCS Virtual Program (GCSVP), must be tested.
Lexia Learning Lab: Improve Your English Proficiency
Lexia Learning Lab is now available to students who want to work on Lexia English before school! You may work in Ms. Crowley's room (211) between 7:45 and 8:30 AM Monday-Friday. Just bring your charged chromebook. A special day is planned for all those who complete four levels by May 15th!
