Fun Friday is back this Friday! Krispy Kreme donuts for sale before school in Eagle Bites for $1 each or $10/dozen. Chick-fil-A combos at lunch for $8….cash or card accepted.
We have unmet volunteer needs in Eagle Bites next week and need your help! We are piloting splitting the shifts so that you can help over your lunch hour. Please check your schedule to see if you are available to help sell snacks to students during lunch at the following days:
Tuesday, Sept 2nd: 3 open shifts (11:45-1 or 12:45-2, or stay for both)
Thursday, Sept 4th: 1 open shift (11:45-1 or 12:45-2, or stay for both)
Please check your schedule for those days, and contact Chrissy Holmes at chrissyv15@outlook.com to sign up. Training will be provided, and fun is guaranteed.
Attention all softball players: There will be an informational meeting for any student that is interested in playing softball in the Spring. The meeting will be on Thursday, September 4th at 8:15 AM in room 133, Coach Rollins Room.

Anyone who wants to wrestle for Eastside High School needs to attend the interest meeting and dinner on Sept. 17th at 6:30 pm in the Eastside cafeteria. Both parents and athletes should attend. Dinner will be served by the coaching staff.
The Julie Valentine Center will be presenting Safer, Smarter Teens, on 9/9 and 9/10 in PE classes ONLY.
This program is designed to empower teenagers to protect themselves in situations where someone could abuse them by arming them with the knowledge and skills they need to protect themselves and teaching them how to seek help if they are in unsafe situations. This program covers the following topics: • Personal Rights and Responsibilities • Healthy vs. Unhealthy Relationships • The Problem of Sexual Abuse • Dating Violence and Harassment • Advocacy in Action

Underclassmen pictures for grades 9-11 will be taken during school hours on Monday, September 8th. A detailed schedule will be shared closer to the photo date. Students who are absent on September 8th or wish to retake their photos will have the opportunity to do so on Tuesday, September 30th.

**Be aware that your student debt WILL NOT APPEAR when you log in to MySchoolBucks--you will have to manually add fees you owe to the "cart" using the correct category under the "DEBT" section (Science fee, ID, lost book, etc.). The directions linked above in red will tell you how to check your debt amount AND what categories to choose in My School Bucks for each type of debt. ALL DEBT must be paid to be eligible to purchase a parking permit, Homecoming Dance, or Prom ticket.
